Who is responsible

Global Atlantic Fishery AB, company registration number 559017-3521, is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at [email protected] or +46 764 286 804.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, company if you give it, the subject you chose and your message. We use them only to answer you and, if it leads there, to prepare an agreement with you. Legal basis: steps at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6.1 b), and for enquiries on behalf of a company our legitimate interest in answering business contacts (art. 6.1 f).

Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you write or call us directly we keep what you send for the same purpose and on the same basis. WhatsApp is run by Meta; if you choose it, Meta's own terms apply to that conversation.

Visiting the site. To deliver the pages, our hosting provider handles your IP address and technical request data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (art. 6.1 f).

We do not measure visitors, use cookies for tracking or show advertising. The exchange rates on the front page are fetched by our own server, so your browser does not contact anyone else. The investor area is protected by a shared password; logging in does not store anything about you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries sent through the contact form are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically every night. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to answer you, and no longer than 12 months unless it leads to an agreement. If it does, we keep what the agreement and the Swedish Accounting Act require.

Who handles the data for us

  • Hrafninn Industries AB, Sweden, builds and runs the website and the contact form for us (data processor).
  • The contact form is received on Hrafninn's own server in Sweden, which stores the copy that is deleted after 12 months.
  • Strato AG, Germany, runs our email.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the website and passes form messages on to the server in Sweden. Cloudflare is based in the United States and is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found gives adequate protection.

We never sell your data or pass it on for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and send you a copy (art. 15);
  • correct anything that is wrong (art. 16);
  • delete your data when we no longer need it, when you object and we have no overriding reason to keep it, or when it was handled unlawfully (art. 17);
  • restrict use of your data while we check a complaint about its accuracy or our reasons for keeping it (art. 18);
  • send the data you gave us to you or another company in a common format, where we handle it to prepare an agreement with you (art. 20).

Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.

Your right to object (art. 21)

Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop, unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the data is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Do you have to give us your details?

No. But without a name and an email address we cannot answer your enquiry. We make no automated decisions or profiles about you.

Complaints

If you think we handle your data wrongly, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or the supervisory authority where you live or work.
